| So, last week was pretty interesting, pretty cool. I spent it with a bunch of high schoolers, lol.. gosh that sounds weird. But anyways, Nitro's band camp went pretty well, not as much drama as i expected. Met some cool people... hung out with great friends. Spent some time with brandon (but not nearly as much time as he has spent with his xbox). And the woodwinds did better than I have ever seen them do in my time at nitro. So i'm way happy for that. Plus.. I got paid $100, so i'm not complaining. If mr b lets me go back next year, and hopefully he will, i'll get $200, so yay!!! ..no, as for my own band camp....
Yesterday was pretty interesting. I got everything out of the blazer and into my room around 5:30, and then called Matt, and being the sweetheart he is, he came and gave me a ride to Smith Music Hall because i seriously had no clue where I was going, lol. But yeah, then I just signed in, paid my money, and waited around. We eventually got started around 7 something and Mr. barnette talked about a ton of stuff, then we played a bit. The music is going to take a while for me to get, mainly because I just haven't seen it before. But the pre-game show is going to rock, so everyone has to come and see it! (even though out of the only 2 people that read this, one is in band here, and one will never go to marshall for anything like a fb game, lol). So yeah, and afterwards, i unpacked some of the stuff I would need till tuesday, and then hung out with Chris for a while, finally went to bed around midnight after watching a ton of tv...
This morning/today was pretty cool. Had to be at the field at 9am, we did some basic marching concepts, and put 2 charts down before lunch. had a 2 hour lunch, and then sectionals. Then full band and a really good dinner. After dinner we learned some more charts. We have the first song down and the second song halfway, so we're doin good!! Tomorrow evening I get to move into my permenant dorm, which means a room to myself till sunday evening!! YaY! lol. I'm a dork like that.. yup. Aisha is in the reserves and she has drill this weekend, so yeah.. I'm not complaining!
So yeah, it's not exciting, but it's happened, and now I guess Im going to go. ta ta!

| So.. this week is gonna suck. A lot. As much as i love all my old band people, and as much as i love the fact that i'm getting $100 for doin it, I know that it's gonna be hell. Brandon is going to ignore me all week for his damn xbox, and I'm just going to be so stressed out about that whole loan thing goin on with marshall, and tons of other stuff. Things are just not goin like i'd wish for them to..
And speaking of brandon.. wow.. he really seems to be pushing me away lately, without even noticing it or meaning to. Like today, I called him just to ask a simple question, and he practically blew up on me because he was "busy" and couldn't take 5 minutes out of his life to talk to me. Then when he called me later, he was whiney and tired and mumbeling, so when i couldn't hear him, he blew up on me again. I just dont know what's going on with him latley. He just isn't understanding anything... and the more he pushes me the way..... ..blah, i can't say anymore. it involves someone else and i'd rather not say anything more on here...

| So, I was bored, and realized I hated my other name on this site, so I just made a new one! Interesting? I think not... lol. Anyways
Life has been kinda hecktic lately. I've been so busy doing stuff.. preping for college and band camps and trying to spend time with some friends and family before leaving. I'm trying to pack for THREE different things at once. It's so crazy. I've got Nitro's band camp this coming week. Then I'll come home on hte 13th, wash clothes and pack more for my own band camp, and pack for moving into my actual dorm on the 16th. I've got to have all of that stuff ready for my dad to just throw in the blazer and drive to huntington. Yeah.. lovely, I know. I've got all day tomorrow though, if i use it wisely.
This week has been kinda odd. I've just got.. a lot of stuff on my mind. A lot a lot... just.. blah.. i don't know how/if i want to explain it here, not sure who will read it.. but yeah.. everything between brandon and college times are on my mind....... great times. | | |
